AirPods losing connection! No fix yet?!

I have the Gen 1 airpods with 6.8.8 firmware and my right airpods loses connection without warning after two minutes or less , putting it back in the case and taking it out fixes it and continues working for another minute before repeating. This is an issue for a long time! I’ve done all steps suggest like resetting, forgetting it etc and no solution yet! Anyone else on the same boat?
