Screen recording blurry...

When I screen record a short video from Instagram and text it to a friend the screen recorded video is crystal clear on my end and quite blurry once they receive it. This is being sent from an iPhone 6s to a iPhone 8 via iMessage. We both have iMessage turned on. My iOS is always up to date. I have a group chat with a small group of friends who all have iPhones and all use iMessage and they all say mine are blurry but if one of them sends a screen recording it seems to be fine... I have tried several things in settings to no avail and done quite a bit of research online and found no solutions. None of my settings (video, texts, etc.) are set to low quality but I am open to any suggestions here as this is quite frustrating. I have been thinking of going to an iPhone 11 Pro recently but with some of the issues I have been having with my phone and Apple as of late (I am aware the 6s is quite outdated) I am starting to change my mind about Apple products all together.
