The 4 major inconsistencies of Sidecar with iPad’s Magic Keyboard.

1. Spotlight search CMD+SPACE during sidecar on iPad, triggers iPad’s spotlight search, not MacOS’.

2. Trackpad from your Magic Keyboard on iPad does not correspond with the cursor of MacOS when in Sidecar. However, the keyboard itself is useable on both iPad and MacOS.

3. Since no escape key is present on the iPad’s Magic Keyboard, using the CMD+. shortcut simply exits Sidecar instead of applying ESC key to the application running on MacOS via Sidecar.


I’m excluding the function keys from this scenario, since I believe that’s just a matter of time before those are introduced into iPad’s Magic Keyboard.
