How to stop Mail from loading remote content of Junk emails

Hi everybody,

many "spammers" use remote content to know if you received or opened their email and by knowing that you usually get a higher score in their spam database so they can sell it for more money and target you more than others. If that make sense.

For this very reason many clients block any remote content in junk emails unless you ask it but doesn't seem to be the case for Mail on macOS.

Is there something I can do?

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.15

in Mail's Viewing preference, uncheck "Load remote content in messages". Messages with remote content will then show a place to click to download it.
