I cracked the screen on my iPhone SE

I cracked the screen on my iPhone SE. My local Apple store is closed, so I brought my iPhone SE to the Apple authorized place recommended on the Apple website. They replaced the phone instead of replacing the screen. I didn't realize until I got home that they did not have me enter my Apple ID in order to reset the old phone to factory settings. I called but they were not responsive to my concern. (They also told me that I had to download all my apps from the app store one by one onto my new phone, so it's not clear that they know what they're talking about.) It has credit card information on it. Am I at risk? Can I get it reset remotely? Do I need to go back to the store and insist?

Thanks. I tried that but the store had me turn off "find my iPhone" when they took it from me. This morning I traveled back to the store - a five hour round trip - and insisted that they let me erase it. So this very unpleasant experience is over, and I certainly will write a review describing my experience. Thank you to all who responded - I really appreciate it.

at first my advice be.


1.

if there be one more device present.

Use the iCloud backup And synchronize the new device, if you made regular back up at the 2nd device simultaneously on the broken one it should be working.


2.

use the safari browser and it should be possible optional while using the iCloud website itself with your Apple ID and refresh all data.



3.

normally in my opinion it have too be able automatically download all Apps,if you refresh all applications.

But still check out the last backup date,we all don’t want a backup which be not up too date.
