Does apple take trade ins that have had a screen replaced

I want to upgrade to a new phone, The phone I have had a cracked screen that I replaced . Can I use it as a trade in ?

If Apple or an authorized service center did the repair, yes.

If you did it yourself or a non Apple third party did it, no.
