Keynote pdf export not viewable in Adobe

Since the recent update of Keynote, all my pdf exports cannot be viewed in Adobe reader -- they just show up as blank white spaces (they do show up fine in mac's preview).

My other colleagues are having the same issue.

Is there an export setting I can change to fix this? or is this an issue that needs to be fixed by Keynote?

This doesn't solve. (I just installed a fresh adobe reader this morning -- problem wasn't fixed). Actually I was notified about this by others who were trying to read documents I was generating. I've also heard from other colleagues that this is a problem for them as well.

This is a keynote problem too! since adobe acrobat accounts for a fair fraction (maybe a majority?) of the pdf viewer market, pdfs that are not viewable by it are useless!
