BEST APPLE WATCH FOR EPILEPSY APP

My 12 year old daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy. What Apple Watch would allow the emergency app to work effectively and still make her feel like she was not wearing it just because she has a condition.

Series 5 with fall detection. Series 5 also has SOS.

Probably Series 5 40mm aluminum, to keep it small and light. Though if the wearer is larger or prefers larger, 44mm will be the choice. The steel case is heavier.

As for case color and band style and colors, that’s something the wearer will be best able to answer. And the bands are easily changed, and many different styles and types of bands are available from a wide variety of sources and vendors.

Models are GPS, and GPS+Cellular. The latter can initiate and receive cellular calls when away from the paired iPhone, assuming that cellular coverage is available. The former GPS-only model cannot, and will send and receive calls only when the paired iPhone is in range of the Watch.

There will need to be an associated and paired iPhone, and the iPhone and the Watch will use the same cellular carrier, and the same Apple ID. Apple IDs are per-person. Don’t try to share with another’s Apple ID here.

The Watch battery typically lasts a day.
