No. It will not backup because the phone will cautiously suspect that the phone is trying to be accessed by someone else besides it’s user. So it will not so your data will not be hacked.

A disabled device has zero functions really. Unitl it is erased in iTunes to reset it, it will not connect to wifi, it will not run apps or execute functions - it is truly disabled.
I thought that too. Until, I took a screenshot and it automatically stored on my icloud, also, I still can answer my calls.
Then it is not disabled.
