keyboard hits space bar repeatedly and automatically

My MacBookPro 13 (2019) (FourThunderBolt 3 ports) has developed a new issue. It will automatically hit the space bar on its own. Not sure what the deal is but it will happen randomly. Suggestions. Challenging to replicate because there seems to be no rhyme or reason for it.
