Since I did the latest software update on my Apple Watch the battery has started dying very quickly. I can't get through half a day without having to charge my watch. Is this a software issue? I have checked the settings in the watch app and turned off background app refresh for almost all of my apps. I'm not sure what else I can do, doesn't make sense to have a watch that doesn't even last a day.

I opened a chat with support, was escalated to dedicated watch rep, he recommended that I un-pair the watch from iPhone, then re-pair and monitor for 24 hours. I did that last night after getting both devices charged up above 50%, and my watch behaved MUCH better today. Will keep monitoring...
Tried this already. Did nothing.

Tried this and still no difference. Read batteries - maximizing performance- Apple. Still no difference. Really not happy.

Me too, exactly.... was lasting me all day until very recently. Yesterday died by 3 pm, this morning didnt make it to 10AM

So what is Apple say about this. Also iPad and iPhone are not lasting as long as they did, just a few hours. What gives Apple. All this began with the last update. Coincidental?
My battery also drains since the OS 7.0 update.
Same. I can put it and my iPhone 11pro max battery life sucking at the is updates. Total ******. Common Apple.

Same here. Watch used to last good 30 hours. Now watch could barely last 7. hey Apple. Stop trying to sell us on restart,etc. It’s your programming.
Did that three times as per previous posts. Didn’t do anything to correct the issue.
I’ve unpaired/paired numerous times. No change whatsoever.
This is the same for me as well. I have Apple Watch Series 3 and the battery is now lasting only for 3-4 hours.
At what point does an Apple representative get involved in the discussion? Is this not “Apple Support?”
