HomePod that was removed from Home App and iCloud still showing as not responding?

I have a HomePod that I sent to Apple for repair and it’s being entirely replaced with a different unit. When I sent it in I deleted the unit from the home app and removed it from my account in iCloud. However now it just shows as not responding in my home hubs with no way of getting rid of it. What can I do without erasing my entire home?

*I did have two HomePods paired together in my bedroom and separated the devices before removing.

In your iPhone try Settings > Apple ID and scroll down to the list of devices where you are signed in. Remove the old Bedroom HomePod that you no longer have.

Thanks for the reply. The problem I run into with the link you provided is the HomePod is already removed and doesn’t show up anywhere in the rooms or home app at all except for the home hub section. I have already removed the device from my devices in iCloud. The device was sent back to apple and is being replaced with a new unit.
