Music not playing through lightning connector via aux cord

iphone is not playing through the lightning connector when connected to my stereo via aux.

Sometimes it connects for a few seconds but Soon cuts the music then the music comes out the Actual iPhone speaker.

I connect my iPhone via aux to my mixer and now it DONT work after the last 2 iOS updates.

If it does get any sound through the lightning adaptor it’s distorted and then cuts out.

headphones still work but it just won’t play through aux via a cord..

cleaned lint and dust, but still don’t work.

purchased new lightning adaptor which worked until the iOS 13 update.

THIS HAS TO BE AN APPLE SOFTWARE PROBLEM WITH IPHONE 7 PLUS..

WAS A VERY HAPPY APPLE IPHONE CUSTOMER UNTIL NOW.

Hi Lender74,

Thanks for your post! I see that your iPhone will not play music when playing through a USB accessory. I see you already performed some troubleshooting and purchased a new adapter, but it did not resolve the issue.

It is possible a setting is restricting the USB device from accessing the iPhone; refer here:

Using USB accessories with iOS 11.4.1 and later

If the issue continues to persist, I suggest you Contact Apple Support for diagnostics.

Let us know what you find out!

Cheers!
