Shared folder not updating on iMac 2019 27"

I am no longer getting new photos on a shared folder on my 2019 iMac BUT have them on my iphone 8 plus.

Try toggling the Share Albums option off and on in Photos' iCloud preference pane. See if that will jumpstart the shared album.
