I have an Apple 8 watch. I monitor my heart rate offer during the day. I'm wondering why there are broken red lines and sometimes there is a solid red line. What is the difference?

Watch heart rate is not accurate. Is there a known issue with Apple watch heart rate being significantly inaccurate? I am new to apple watch and mine is about 10 to 20 percent too low.

Oops, SORRY! I have an Apple 8 Phone and an Apple Watch . I must have been distracted by my grandson.
