How to use Kensington Orbit Trackball w/ Scroll Ring?

I use a Mac Pro Mid-2012; run MacOS High Sierra. I just purchased a Kensington Orbit Trackball w/ Scroll Ring (K72337US). Please direct me to instructions on how to use the product; such as drag-and-drop, etc., etc.

Kensington Wired Trackball & Monterey OS Have an older Kensington trackball that I love. Tried their wireless one and had issues with it. So, went back to the older wired one, model #K64325. Upgraded to Monterey on my 27" Mac, and all hell broke out. Finally had to totally reinstall the operating system all the way back to Mojave and then moved back to Monterey. But the driver from Kensington (2.3.1) is what seemed to be causing all the trouble with Monterey. The trackball is still functional, but I can't increase scroll speed or set right-click button(s). Any idea when Kensington will release a new driver for its USB trackball? Thanks all.... Bob

Logitech Ergo trackball and MacBook Pro M1 I connected my Ergo trackball via Bluetooth. Everything works fine except the paging buttons. I can't find a way to set preferences for the trackball. New to Apple, been using PC for 40 years. haven't quite gotten used to the way things are organized, so need some advice.

Apple Mac mini M1 Big Sur and Kensington Slimblade? Has anybody been able to run Kensington's Slimblade trackball (KensingtonWorks driver either 2.2.7 or 2.2.8) on a fresh install in a Mac mini M1 with Big Sur (11.2.3)? These are the latest versions as of this writing. The trackball is not recognized in my new Mac mini M1. It works perfectly fine in my older Mac mini (Intel), same latest MacOS and KensingtonWorks. My setup is mostly from Migration Assistant, but I've been deleting some deprecated stuff. Still no custom functionality in the trackball. It's working like a simple two-button mouse. It's working via USB connection but KensingtonWork says there's no USB connection and therefore no customization. Weird. I'm tempted to wipe the M1 clean and do fresh install from scratch — but only if KensingtonWorks + Slimblade is known to work. It's a huge undertaking. Anybody with experience? Anybody know for a fact if it works in a fresh install?

What exact help do you need?

Hold left biuton don on object, drag it somewhere you want & drop by letting up the left button.
