No Access To Trusted Device & Can't Remember Phone #

I am having the same issue! Did you ever resolve it? I had to create an entire new Apple ID because of this and now I have another issue, it is now saying that my new Apple ID hasn’t been used in iTunes yet .. tells me to sign in & it still takes me back to the same error message. I wish I could gain access to my old iCloud .. I’ve had it since 2013.

If this is true, you can't regain access to this account.

Knowing the phone number is step 1 of account recovery and there is no way to bypass it.

Otherwise I could recover your account.

Wait, you said my FIRST trusted device must be an IOS device. But what if I had changed the “trusted device” number when I switched phones? Is that something that would have been allowed?

i recently lost my phone. Which had my Apple ID signed into it, the Apple ID I prefer to use. I got my phone service switched over and kept my number. So when I try to sign in, 2-step verification says it sent a code to my phone. I don’t get the code. Like it’s still processing to my old lost device or something. Please help

The phone number linked to that Apple account is a phone number attached to a flip phone I used for only three months when I broke my old phone.

Then is is not a trusted device. Your first trusted device must be an iOS device as flip phones can't receive verification codes.

A flip phone can be used as a trusted phone number, but not as a trusted device.

Is there anything I can do?

Again, without that phone number you can't start account recovery.

iOS security depends on this. There are no workarounds.
