How to close apps in CarPlay (continue)

If I'm using any application on Apple Car is there a possibility to kill the app (iPhone 8, IOS 13.x in Skoda Superb)?

For example: Waze is giving me the guidance. I disconnect the phone cable from the radio but Waze is still giving me the guidance on background from the phone speaker. In this situation I'm not able to stop the Waze even from my phone screen. The app is not wisible in the running application list using button double click.

It sounds like a bug, but I'm not sure. To stop the guidance only using the radio screen is not an acceptable way for me. First - in a car I'd like to focus on driving not play with small buttons on the radio touch screen. Second - the CarPlay sometimes disconnects spontaneously and I've no way how to kill the speaking from my phone other than reboot (or reconnect if it is possible - not allways).

Folks, do you have any advice?
