How can I close the app Waze when using Apple Car Play without having to touch my iPhone 8?

Let me understand this. You have Waze app open on your car's display via CarPlay. You want to completely close the Waze app without touching your iPhone.

1. You can open another Maps app such as, Apple Maps or Google Maps etc and that will replace the Waze app. You can make this change right from your Car's display. You can get to the Menu screen by tapping on the bottom LEFT of your car's display (three dashes) and that will take you to other options.
2. OR if you are asking about completely closing out the running Waze app (in the background) then you have to open/close it on your iPhone.
