2020 MacBook Pro - Hard Case?

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone knew if any of the prior MacBook Pro models would have had hard cases that fit the 2020 MacBook Pro (13.3) code: A2289. I am never one to get a new piece of tech but my 2011 model died and I bought one on the apple website and lo and behold I've apparently got myself a new model!

I am struggling to find a case online and I am very much a 'screen protector, hard case, zip case' person. I was wondering if anyone knew of the model codes of previous models that my MacBook will fit in to, or if I need to wait a while for manufacturers to catch up.

I just bought the same model and I am having the same problem! But I recently just found one on amazon that came up for pre-order and is not available until August or September of 2020. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0894NYN18/?coliid=I2H5MOSVVNVOQZ&colid=L1NMNRUNQXIH&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

My only concern is that it comes with a keyboard cover, which you are not supposed to use if your computer has a retina display, which the Macbook A2289 does. I may end up ordering it anyway and not using the keyboard cover because I haven't found any other cases anywhere!

hi! I am having the same issue. I just purchased my new Mac book pro model A2289 a few weeks ago and I'm searching for a hard case as well. I own a sleeve already, so just looking for the hard case. It seems companies need time to catch up and create them, but I did find this one! I have found more success with typing the model number in on amazon to be more specific. Try this one, but it has limited options. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S5372Q3/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2JY0TBT2EDYOV&psc=1

I may order one from here, the price is good, and at least its some extra protection! Good luck- let us know if you find any others as time goes on!

Because of the limited clearance between the keyboard and display when closed.
