What adapter replaces the 87W USB-C?

My 2017 15-inch MacBook Pro 87W USBC power adapter died and will no longer charge my computer. From what I can tell, the exact charger is no longer sold. What adapter should I buy to replace the 87W USBC adapter? I thought I was going to be fine buying the 85w magsafe power adapter but it doesn't have the USB-C cord. Does anyone know if the cord that comes with the magsafe can be interchanged with the USB-C type cable? I hope I am calling things by their correct names.

Thanks

You can use the 96 watt adapter instead. (If in doubt of that, see the Compatibility section of the following link.)

The MagSafe adapters have permanently attached cords and they cannot be used with Macs that use USB-C connectors.
