Huh? An Apple iPhone jpeg file is "not from an authorized developer?"
iPhone 8+ running iOS13.1.2.
iMac running MacOS 10.15.4 Catalina
When I AirDrop a photo taken with the iPhone Photos App into iMac's Downloads the iMac refuses to let me open the jpeg file with the message "123456.jpg is not from an authorized developer." Huh? my iPhone can't take a photo that my iMac can open anymore?
The problem arose recently under MacOS 10.14 and continued through the upgrade to 10.15.4 (I skipped 15.1, 2 and 3 intentionally because of a legacy 32 bit app but finally went to 10.15.4.) System Preferences | Security & Privacy | General is set to "Allow apps downloaded from App Store and identified developers.
I'm truly foxed; if anyone has a suggestion I would greatly appreciate hearing it.
