Hi I am trying to connect my iPad 6th generation to my MacBook Air. It keeps flashing on and off in finder and I can’t click on it to trust. My MacBook runs Catalina 10.15.4

one can divide and conquer troubleshooting by, testing with another table, testing with another computer, testing with another ios device to narrow down what the cause is.

Many thanks for your reply Rudegar. I tried it but to no effect. I have tried using different leads and both USB ports, which work fine with my iPhone. It’s just my iPad. I’ve had it for a couple of years but I think this is the first time I have tried to connect to my Mac.
