MacBook Pro getting really hot.

i am using boot camp sometimes on my MacBook Pro and also other times use a monitor or iPad Pro as a secondary screen. This is both on Mac OS and windows. Whenever I am doing these things my MacBook Pro gets very hot. Is this normal?
