Not being able to search for emails on the mail app on my ipad after the latest iPadOS 13.5 Update. has anyone else faced this issue ?

If you’ve not already updated to iPadOS 13.5.1, you should do so now.
The Mail Search field is revealed by pulling-downwards on the message list (left pane in Landscape mode).
It’s difficult to predict. I’ve sometimes not seen any reindexing - but on other occasions, I’ve noticed it take many hours to a day or more. The more locally stored data you have, the longer it may take.
Your iPad may be reindexing locally stored content (such as email) following the system update. Be patient, as reindexing may take some hours to complete as a background activity.
How long do you recon it will take ?
I did the update at around 10 pm last night, and it is currently 5 pm in the evening (the next day)
