AppleTV & iCloud

I'm having trouble viewing my uploaded iPhotos onto iCloud. On my AppleTV no photos are seen except for my wife's upload from a few years ago - nothing recent. On AppleTV, in System Preferences, iCloud Account, I've tried my account - then it denies me and says go to my wife's account. So in my wife's account I turn on iPhotos sharing - and on my home Mac I have family sharing turned on. All of these above (except wife's iPhone) are in my name. Any suggestions viewing on AppleTV, Photos from iCloud?
