Kernal Panic Attack

Hello, I am here because ive been recently trying to factory reset my imac 2009 and every time I try to enter recovery mode I have a kernal panic and my computer restarts automatically. I have tried CTRL + R, Option + CTRL + R, Option, Command + Option + P + R and nothing seems to work. I am running OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

It is likely either failed or failing RAM or a failing hard disk. Please take the computer to your local Apple Authorized Servicce Provider to be professionally diagnosed. However first ensure you have a working backup of the entire computer, a Time Machine or bootable clone backup is fine. If you don't have a backup, then get yourself a high quality external HD and begin using Time Machine.
