IphoneSE2020 not recording sound properly

Hey all, received my new iPhone SE recently but I think I may be having some issues with it.

Went to the park the other day and when trying to record a video, I noticed on the playback the sound cut out a couple times which was VERY odd.

To test again, I tried recording a coworker on the local news and again, literally NO sound was recorded.

While driving to work I tried testing one more time and it was sometimeish with the sound recording.

For reference: my settings are: 4K and 60fps on the BACK camera.

Really love the phone... don’t want to return it or have a bad taste in my mouth about it.

I understand from your post that when recording video with your new iPhone SE the sound does not always get recorded as well. Answering some questions may help determine the cause of the issue an

Does this happen with the front camera as well?
Please remove any case you may have on the device and see if the sound is record a new video. Is the sound back?
Does this happen with other devices as well, like a wired headset or Bluetooth headphones?
Does it only happen when recording videos or with using other apps like FaceTime as well?
Do you have any issues being heard while on a phone call?
