Hello, I just got a FocusRite iTrack to record with my iPad. It records in GarageBand just fine but when I use while recording videos, the sound comes through just one speaker. Are there audio input controls on the iPad so I can adjust the sound? I'm a music therapist and I want to record videos for my patients who are quarantined. Thanks!

Yeah, it's a good vocal condenser mic but I didn't realize that iPhones/iPads record in stereo by default. If anyone's interested, if you go to Settings<Accessibility<Audio/Visual you can select Mono Audio so that you can record with an external mic.

It sounds like the microphone you are using only records audio in mono.
While recording video, sound is only coming through one speaker.
