My iPhone network is locked

How can I use network carriers in Nigeria on my phone. Each time I put my sim it will say the sim is not valid or not supported.

Your iPhone is carrier locked. You will need to get it unlocked from that carrier. If you just bought the iPhone then call the seller and ask him/her whether they know to which carrier the iPhone is locked to. ONLY that carrier can unlock your iPhone for use with other carriers.
