iTunes Music Grouping/Connecting Songs On Shuffle

Hello,

I know I am a little late on this or maybe not but I have been involved lately on updating my music collection and creating playlists. With that said, I have been wondering how I can connect two songs that should be played together and not skipped on shuffle. I discovered what Grouping means now and I have done that to two songs as a test and it worked however, does it only work on the Mac? I primarily listen to music through my iPhone like most I would assume and this grouping function does not work on my iPhone. Looking for a solution to achieve this on iPhone?

Hello aawilliams83,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. From your message it sounds like you would like to know if you can have the same CD tracks which you joined together on your Mac "joined" on your iPhone.

With the iOS version of Music, the tracks won't be seen as joined. Joining the CD tracks is a feature which works with iTunes. Just like, in iTunes you can select to Shuffle songs or albums when you go to Controls > Shuffle. Shuffle on an iOS device will shuffle through the library unless you're using a specific playlist. Even when shuffling the playlist, the joined songs will not be recognized.

You can leave suggestions about this or any other features you'd like to see on the Apple Feedback site: Product Feedback - Apple.

All the best.
