Hi. I'm having the same issue with Music after updating to Catalina just days ago. Jameson_H's response to RCOXUSA is not helpful to me. When using iTunes in Mojave, typing command+O allowed me to browse to the MP3 files on my Desktop or in my Downloads, select them, and import them. Now, when using Music in Catalina, the music files to import from my Desktop or in my Downloads are not visible in the browser window at all. I cannot select them to import them because they do not show up at all, even though they are sitting right there on my Desktop or in my Downloads. When I attempt to import these music files into the Music app by dragging the MP3 files from my Desktop or Downloads into the Music window, that also doesn't work. Also, when I attempt to add album artwork (by clicking the ••• in the lower right corner of the (empty) album cover area, selecting Get Info, clicking the Artwork tab, dragging the desired album artwork image into the window, clicking OK), nothing happens. Album artwork is not added. So then I try again by clicking ••• in the lower right corner of the (empty) album cover area and this time I select Get Album Artwork. The Music app magically adds an album cover that is not the right one for this particular album. So I go back into the Artwork metadata tab for that album to delete the incorrect album artwork, but when I delete the artwork, or when I replace it with the correct artwork and then click OK, the wrong album artwork (that I just deleted) is still there. What am I missing here?
