iPhone 11 13.5 upgrade app issues

Many of my apps don’t work following the upgrade...and I can only delete and reinstall them to overcome the problem. Is this just me?

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities. I understand you were having an issue with multiple applications not functioning properly after an update. Often times when an iOS update comes out the applications on the phone also need to update. Did you happen to see if any of the apps needed to run an update prior to removing them? If the apps don't need an update or the update doesn't solve the issue, then the next step would be to remove the app. From your post I see that you've already removed and downloaded the apps again.


In the future if you are experiencing an issue with the apps on your device this article may help If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open
