Samsung Apple Music App Login Issues

I am unable to look at my Library in my Apple Music App on my Samsung UHD. It shows i’m signed it but keeps showing the Start listening / Already a subscriber on my Library tab no matter how many times I login or restart or reset my television and wifi

I've figured out why at least with my account the Apple Music library wasn't showing on my Samsung Q80.


Its because I had my Apple Music subscription through my mobile service provider (EE).


As soon as I cancelled it with them and re-subscribed directly through Apple Music my library popped up 😁

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. If I'm understanding correctly, you are having some trouble with viewing your Apple Music library from your Samsung smart TV. I will be glad to assist. I would try a reset to see if that helps, as shown below from:


Set up the Apple Music app on your Samsung smart TV


"Reset the Apple Music app

You can restore the Apple Music app to its original settings, remove all of your personal information, and sign out of all accounts. If you reset the Apple Music app on a smart TV that's also signed in to the Apple TV app, then the Apple TV app will also be restored to its original settings. 

  • To restore the Apple Music app and Apple TV app on your smart TV, open either app, then go to Settings > Reset Apple TV and Apple Music.
  • If you just want to sign out of the Apple Music app on your smart TV, open the Apple Music app and go to Settings > Accounts."
