HomeKit Secure Video Color/Black & White Logitech Circle 2

Hi Everyone,

I’ve been going back and forth with my Logitech circle 2 cameras for a while now. Between HomeKit not recording properly to image quality HomeKit secure video has been a tough sell. Well now that Logitech has come out with the view, I’m taking the leap and I’ve moved all of my cameras to the HomeKit secure video firmware.

My main complaint, other than motion detection, people recognition vs. flags, and clips being cut short when motion is detected, is the video quality I’m getting vs. the logi app. With the logi app my front of the house camera would display full color at night with my front of the house lights on. Now the camera is only displaying black and white. Just like in the logi app I have night vision turned off as well as the camera recog light. So my question is this, is there something we can do to allow the camera to display in color rather than black and white? I’m guessing the light sensor for HomeKit secure video requires a certain amount of light before it will switch to color where Logi’s might have been a little bit more lenient on the setting.

As an FYI, I have three homepods that can be used as hubs. I have all of my Apple TV’s disabled as hubs.
