My wife's iPad Pro fails to stay connected to WiFi at home (we've got Airport Express 802.11)

Hi,

My wife's iPad Pro fails to stay connected to WiFi at home (we've got Airport Express 802.11). My MacBook, both our iPhones and even old iPad 3 connect OK.

Tried to reset the iPad, reset networks, took it out of home to connect to other wifi, where it worked flawlessly.

What can I do to fix it or find out what's wrong?

The next obvious step is to restart the AirPort Express WiFi Router - then restart your devices.

Are you using the AirPort Express as simple WiFi Access Point - or are you using it as your primary router with DHCP and NAT enabled?

Hi,

thanks for the reply. The router has been restarted a few times as well. Will try once more, no problem with that.

Am not an IT expert to be honest, however I believe the way we use the AirPort Express is the second option - as a primary router. I can read in the dedicated app that there is a private IP address set up on the WAN bridge. I remember discussing this with my provider's technician and him saying it's ok and on purpose.
