Apple Music - added songs to playlist do not show up on Songs

Hi all,

I have added songs to a playlist from a number of different playlist albums etc.

problem is when I go to my library and then chose ‘songs’, ‘artists’ or ‘albums’ tab instead of ‘playlist’ tab all of those songs are not there.

is there a quick way of moving all the songs from a playlist to these sections so you can search artists, songs and albums - rather than scrolling through a whole playlist to find a song you want?

i know there is a + sign to add but there is over 2000 songs I want to add and it’s taking way too long! Just wanted to know if there’s a quick way...

Hello Tommytommy11,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that songs you've added to playlists don't appear in your Music library. I can see how this could be concerning. I'm happy to help.

On your device go to Settings > Music > and turn on Add Playlist Songs. With this feature songs added to playlists will automatically be added to your Music library. Take a look at the following resource for more information:
