My son in law just got an iphone 3 days ago and accidently got it wet! Now it wont turn on and its making weird noise what can we do? Does apple stand behind their product? Wet phone

Water damage is not covered by the warranty. Did he buy AppleCare+? If so, he has two accidental damage claims he can use to reduce the out of warranty exchange fee.

iPhones are not waterproof. You will have to pay for a replacement phone.
