I solved the issue by taking these steps:
My cursor disappeared to so I came here and read these steps. Also, my trackpad did not seem to be working either for scrolling, etc.
I solved the issue by taking these steps:
I did steps 4 and 6 and it came back. Yes, Viola is not a real step!
Same here. It was there and now it’s gone. Have restarted twice and still nothing.
I solved to reset Ipad with keeping content. Basically back to factory setting.
I have the same issue I just got the keyboard the cursor was there and now it has disappeared- any help please??? Also where is the escape key?

Thanks for this. It helped. I didn’t have to reboot my ipad though, just took it off the keyboard and closed the cover. It came back once I reattached it.
Thanks. This worked for me! 🙂
Assuming the UBS-C power cable is attached to the magic keyboard. Then attach your iPad Pro to the magic keyboard: no mouse pointer but keyboard working.
Detach power cable/USB cable , detach iPad Pro from Magic Keyboard and then reattach iPad, only afterwards the power cable: Mouse pointer visible again.
This is in my view a software bug.
IDo not understand how to reboot iPad.
Ok, the suggested solution works. But is this gonna get fixed eventually? I don’t wanna deattach and restart my iPad every time I lose my cursor. In fact, I don’t wanna lose my cursor anyways.
I sent my keyboard in to Apple and the sent me a new one but still can’t get my cursor . ?
I just had this problem and fixed it simply by:
Perhaps it’s as easy as closing the iPad with the keyboard attached, but I won’t able to test this unless my cursor disappears again. Perhaps Bakes1138 is right in that closing the keyboard resets it.
Take iPad to apple. I had same problem. Check the connector dots on back of iPad. One of mine has a pinhole in it. Looks dark like a burn. Replacing iPad.
It worked! Thank you.
