Charging AirPods Pro

Can you use a 12w adapter and usb-lightning cable to charge AirPods Pro? I can’t use the cable provided and don’t have a charging pad. Thanks!

Why would anyone give a cable without a power supply to charge the AirPod Pro case> This is just stupid! After spending 250 dollars I would expect to have everything I needed.
