I have an unlocked iPhone, confirmed with AT&T, and it’s still saying sim not supported. Trying to use a T-mobile SIM card. Phone is paid off and unlocked. I restored it twice via iTunes and it is still
not allowing me to use my t-mobile SIM card. Any tips?

As has already been posted, if the message is “SIM Not Supported” then the phone, by definition, is not unlocked, no matter what you were told. If it was just unlocked you need to follow some steps to update the phone—>How to unlock your iPhone for use with a different carrier - Apple Support

If it says SIM not supported by definition it is not unlocked, no matter what anyone tells you. If it was locked to AT&T you need to escalate the issue with their tech support.
I’ve tried those steps. It is still not working.
