My question is whether I could possibly be offered a new model on economical terms

I have been with Apple for a short time. My daughter gave me her old, 4th generation iphone. I was very pleased with it when, suddenly, it broke down without an obvious reason. I took it to the Vodaphone store in Kyparissia Messinia, and they told me that it cannot be repaired.

My question is whether I could possibly be offered a new model on economical terms as I am a pensioner and not in easy financial circumstances. Should I refer to a particular service? Please, let me know.

Apple trade-in is only available for old working phones.

Look for 2 year contracts on iphone 7 at your Vodafone (or other vendor) store

You should look at the iPhone SE (Second edition); it is the least expensive phone, but is still a very powerful phone. Or check the Apple store for refurbished phones.

The difference is that the iPhone 7 is a 4 year old phone and the SE Second Edition has been out for less than a month. When an SE will be 4 years old a 7 will be 8 years old and almost certainly out of support, but the SE will still be updatable.
