iOS 13 Built-in Keyboard for iPad Air 2 ONLY: Square root symbol from native keyboard?

How to type the square root symbol via "iOS 13 iPad Air 2" built-in keyboard? Thank you for constructive device AND iOS-specific help! Note: I've read that Apple-developed calculation app is a 'no-go' on iPad.

Hello,

I am not aware of a way to type this symbol using iPad’s on-screen keyboard. It can be typed using an external keyboard by pressing ⌥ (Option) + V. You could however create a keyboard shortcut using Text Replacement in Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement.

There is built-in stuff to add equations in Pages for iPad

and apps available for Word

For individual symbols, you can also use an app like UnicodePad, and make text replacements as suggested by QuickPost.
