This would be extremely useful for those of us transitioning from google maps to Apple Maps. I have hundreds of locations saved from all over the world that would be great to have in Apple Maps. this feature would help speed the transition!

Yes I believe this is absolutely pertinent especially for the company (Apple) who is wanting the conversion to happen. It should happen because of several reasons but having that feature would get people who didn’t care about those reasons also.
Thank you for allowing me to clarify my question. Can I import saved/starred places I have in Google Maps to Apple Maps as a collection?
It make perfectly sense for me. I am about to move from Android to Apple and want to change to Apple Maps. And then I want to import 100`s of locations stored the last years in my "private" Google Map. :-)
No.
+1
I can export location data from Google maps but i don't find a way to import these information. This would be really helpful in order to transition from Google maps to Apple maps.
You're question doesn't make sense. Apple Maps and Google Maps are two separate products.
I can contribute on Apple Maps like we do on Google Maps
Apple Maps br Brandon carrington
