how to make speed and heart rate monitors update continuously (or as often as possible) in Walk App?

When you use the Workout app, Apple Watch measures your heart rate continuously during the workout and for 3 minutes after the workout ends to determine a workout recovery rate. If you don't see your heart rate, check your settings.
Thanks. what about the speed? I mean walking speed. I suspect it accumulates data and reports minutes per mile every mile. But I want nearly instantaneous, as is the heart rate monitor (per your response).
too bad! it would be so easy for them to update as they do for heart. I did not check what it does for running. maybe on this they need to update continously as it is even more important!

I believe it takes an average every KM. not sure there is an option to have it record speed more often.
And when you're not working out it measures your heart rate approx every 10 minutes,unless you turn the heart monitor off.
