Trying to find out how to add an app to my old ATV if it is even possible to do so. The app is ici radio-Canada tele. I found the app I think but can’t find how to install in the ATV. If someone can help I would much appreciate it.

Also existing providers have been increasingly dropping support for the server 'channels' available on the older models, so it's definitely worth considering an upgrade at some point.
Why not purchase a new Apple TV, IMHO they are not that expensive.
Impossible to do, apps are added and through the App Store which requires an Apple TV HD or 4K model. Apple TV’s prior to the Apple TV HD are hard wired.
