Given it was hot water and there are chemicals in the hot tub it probably won't work again.

You can put it in a cool, dry place like a cabinet for 4 - 5 days and hope it revives at least long enough to get a backup.

You can click on the Contact Support link at the top right of this page to start the service process to pay for an out-of-warranty replacement. Ask for express replacement.

You can find a reputable 3rd party shop that is open that can do board level soldering and have them work on it. If you go this rough Apple may not accept your iPhone for work in the future.

You can buy a new iPhone and sell that one for parts.

The iPhone 7 and later models are all rated: IP67. This would mean that they are NOT waterproof, but water resistant down to 1 m for up to 30 minutes. iPhone XS & iPhone XS Max are rated at IP68.

No iphone is waterproof. The IP rating system indicates those devices are simply less likely to be damaged by some water exposure than a non-rated device would be. Nothing about an IP water resistant rating guarantees any protection against water damage.

Iphone X is water resistant at a maximum depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.

But that is under controlled laboratory conditions with a new phone.
