I have an apple watch 1 that I would like to give my neice. She has an iPhone 7. When attempting to pair, it is asking for a 6-digit number instead of the 5 digit number the device populates. How do I pair this watch to her phone?

cleared off cloud ?
i don’t get a six digit code

Which model of watch is it?.
Which version of ios is on the phone?
Which version of watchOS it the watch running?
What error messages are you receiving?
Did your daughter remove the watch from her icloud account.
