Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
App store shows updates are downloaded and ready to install. When clicking "Update" the "Restart" notification pops up. Clicking "Restart" results in a notification window "Available Updates have changed." Clicking on "Show Details" circles back to showing same updates available. Thanks for your help as I cannot figure out what is wrong.

Hi, do these updates relate to another Apple ID that was perhaps used on your computer? I've seen this problem happen when two people have at one time or another both logged into a Mac. When you're in the App Store go to 'Window' and check who's Apple ID is logged in.

Hi MissJ. While I share this computer, only a single appleID has been used to download previous updates. This has not changed.
The Computer just started doing this with the most recent updates.
Are you running any VPNs, Anti-virus or cleaning Apps?
Updates downloaded from App store will not install
