To set up wireless sync you must first sync with a cable. After the first cable sync you can enable Wi-Fi sync. There’s a checkbox in iTunes to enable it. If you don’t see the phone make sure you have the latest version of iTunes from https://apple.com/itunes as the version from Microsoft does not include iPhone drivers.

The instructions to do that are in the link provided by SravanKrA. If you are not familiar with links, a link on a web page opens a new page with additional information. Usually links have blue text, and you click anywhere on the blue text to open the new page.
You need to connect the phone and look in iTunes (Finder if you have a Mac with Catalina) for the iPhone icon at the top. Clic on it and a Summary page will open. The checkbox for Wi-Fi sync is on the Summary page. It is not on your iPhone. I don’t know why you were looking in Settings/General On the phone when the link does not mention that at all.
Ok sorry for the confusion I was looking at Apple help also. When I start up iTunes on my computer there is no icon for my iPhone. How do I connect my phone with the computer? I checked and they are connected to the same WiFi.

My settings general tab does not have an option for syncing? Is there anything else I can do?
You must connect the phone to the computer with a lightning to USB cable. It should then appear in iTunes.
I tried to connect the computer and iPhone with a lightning and USB earlier and I still didn’t see the icon. Also my original question was how to sync wirelessly. Thanks for the help.
